About

Hi, I’m Nicole….

Counselling Psychologist, Executive Coach and Wellness Consultant.

I focus on creating a safe and inviting environment for my clients where they can resolve past problems, deal more successfully with current life challenges, and strive towards a more fulfilled future. I work from an integrative therapeutic stance that combines elements drawn from different schools of psychological theory and research, to form a more flexible and inclusive approach to treatment than traditional, singular forms of psychotherapy. This approach allows a more holistic and personalised approach to therapy that suits the needs and goals of each individual client. I utilise elements of psychodynamic therapy, transactional analysis, cognitive behavioral therapy, and narrative therapy, whilst taking a holistic view that also considers stressors, life changes, support structures, nutrition, exercise, and work-life integration. This allows me to view my clients in relation to their larger systems and environments that may be impacting their mental health. Using a broader lens to evaluate mental health further allows for collaboration with your other health care providers when needed. Thus, the objective of therapy is to help guide clients in navigating both their internal and external worlds with authenticity, curiosity and empathy.
